Draycott Nursing and Care is keeping up to date with the latest public health and government information about the risk of coronavirus in the UK. The infection control lead for the organisation will maintain close links with local health protection teams and will be responsible for circulating essential information to staff and to service users and their families. Draycott Nursing and Care will continue to fully comply with official advice, including Coronavirus (COVID-19): residential care, supported living and home care guidance, published by Public Health England (PHE).
Our first priority is ensuring our current workforce have access to the appropriate PPE (personal protection equipment) to enable them to continue providing the very best care. We have provided access to masks, aprons, gloves and eye shields if needed. We are also continuously updating our practice and policies regarding infection control and communicate the information twice weekly.
The next priority is to secure the head office staff to ensure the welfare of our care coordinators, administrative staff and the management team and their continued ability to provide services to you that are safe and effective so we have recently made provisions to ensure they can work from home as and when it is necessary.
As we all adjust to this rapidly changing landscape, Draycott Nursing and Care management team are working at full speed, and we’ll keep you updated with new changes as they become clear.
